NODO Applications — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of NODO Applications. By creating an account you agree to these Terms. This document is a draft for legal review before production launch and is not the commercial PM Services Agreement, which is accepted separately during onboarding.

1. Service Description

NODO Applications is a software service that helps property management offices collect, organize, and manage community applications — from applicant intake through a complete file ready for review.

Features, screening options, and pricing may change as the service evolves.

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify NODO promptly of any unauthorized use or suspected security breach.

3. Authorized Use

You may use NODO Applications only for lawful property management purposes and only for communities you are authorized to represent.

Access granted to your team members remains your responsibility.

4. Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself, your company, and the communities you manage, and to keep that information up to date.

5. Electronic Communications

By creating an account you consent to receive account, security, and service-related communications electronically, including email sent to the address on file.

6. Document Uploads

You are responsible for the documents you and applicants upload. You represent that you have the right to submit them and to process them for application review.

7. Third-Party Services

The service may integrate with third-party providers. Their features are subject to their own terms, and NODO is not responsible for third-party services outside its control.

8. Screening Services

Where screening options are enabled, results are provided by third-party screening providers. NODO does not make rental, leasing, or approval decisions on your behalf.

You are responsible for using screening results in compliance with applicable fair-housing, consumer-reporting, and anti-discrimination laws.

9. Payment Authorization

Where fees apply, you authorize the applicable charges through NODO's payment processors. Card data is handled by PCI-compliant processors; NODO does not store full card numbers or security codes.

10. Prohibited Use

You may not misuse the service, including attempting unauthorized access, uploading malicious code, scraping data, or using the service to violate any law or the rights of others.

11. Intellectual Property

NODO and its licensors retain all rights in the service, including software, design, and trademarks. These Terms do not grant you any ownership of NODO intellectual property.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and NODO is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

13. Suspension and Termination

NODO may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the security or integrity of the service. You may stop using the service at any time.

14. Governing Law

15. Changes to These Terms

NODO may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
